Kashmir | 3 Women Come Out To Debunk 'Love Jihad Conspiracy'

The "love jihad conspiracy" is again making headlines this time in the Kashmir valley. The leaders from Sikh community have been protesting for almost a week now against the alleged forceful conversion and marriage of Sikh girls to Muslim men. Three women around whom the whole controversy revolves have now opened up about what actually happened with them. Manmeet was apparently rescued at the intervention of leaders from the Sikh community in Delhi and then she was married off to a Sikh man. Another woman Danmeet released a video saying that she embraced her new religion by her own will and without any pressure from anyone. She further said that the allegations of "conversions being done at gunpoint" are completely baseless and false. The third woman named Khadiza who was earlier knows as Viran Pal Kaur too released a video saying she converted to Islam on her own choice. The doings of the leaders from Sikh community has been a matter of concern over the past few days, she says. "In the same vein, my name is also being brought up and so I decided to shoot a video to give my side of the story", she said in the video.
