This patient travel all the way from Australia, then he move to LA and he came in with a very sore foot. Before I saw him he is telling me that his foot is swell up in the evening and change color. I took a look at his foot and I knew that there was something underneath that little tiny discoloration. And when I remove the hard skin there was actually pus coming out of it. And there is also a little swelling outside the foot too. And this is what we called a infected foot ----------. So what we did was, we dressed it up, put some antiseptic on it and put a pad on it. The reason why we put a pad on it is that he can still walk on his foot, but obviously we recommended to not walk as much on his foot. The pad also reduce the load and pressure on the infected area.
