Jammu & Kashmir: Terrorists Lob Grenade, Open Fire On Army Convoy In Kathua An Indian Army convoy was attacked in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. The convoy was attacked by terrorists in the Machedi area. The troops were ambushed inside a forest stretch during their routine patrol. Five Indian Army personnel were martyred and six sustained injuries, who were then immediately taken to the nearby hospital. Officials say the terrorist first attacked the convoy with a grenade and then opened fire. A massive search operation has been launched by the Army to find the terrorists who are still believed to be hiding inside the green cover. Police say that the terrorists used sophisticated weapons to maximise the death toll.
