A safety issue has come to my attention, twice now, that involves the charging port cover. If you forget to close the cover, the throttle lever can slip past it and get stuck. If this happens, the scooter will not stop when you let go of the throttle because the cover will keep it in the "full" position. This scooter is the ES950, made by Orthoquad, but this situation may be present on other scooters that use the same setup. I believe this to be a serious safety issue so please share this video with anyone you know that drives a mobility scooter. It could potentially save their life.
