In other countries it's also known as a Shogun Sport or a Montero Sport. I've never owned a "proper" 4WD before so this will be an adventure to share with you. I have owned a Subaru Liberty / Legacy Gen 2 AWD. When I was an apprentice motor mechanic I did a lot of work on Land Rovers (Series 2 & 3), Land Cruiser FJ40 and 6WD Nubian fire engines. I've also had several AWD SUVs such as the Holden Captiva, Mitsubishi Outlander and Subaru Outback but they were fully maintained company cars and I didn't do much more than put fuel in them. I haven't swung on a spanner professionally for 30+years so expect some poor choices, mistakes and downright stupidity. I'm sure it will be fun.
