1st January 2019, 13:35 From top of Filzbodenbahn (7) head back down the line of the chair but keep left on the Blue 6a piste. At 1:30 we cross the Blue 2a piste that goes back towards Hochbrixen, however continuing on past the Holzalm restaurant we head towards the Jochbahn chair. At 2:30 I kept right as I was aiming to get onto the Red 1b piste down to Brixen, however as I found out, this just splits off at the bottom of the chair and so any route would have done, but keeping right keeps me on the Blue 6a. The run continues down and under the Jochbahn chair and at 4:30 you can stay on Blue 6a to the left, however carrying straight on changes to Red 6a and a more direct, steeper option which joins back onto the main Red 6 piste at 5:30. From here we carry on until 6:15 where there is sign on the right for the Red 1b down into Brixen. From here down the run was quite heavy and hard going. Soft, loose snow and a lot of traffic making it that way. quite a struggle until we come out under the gondola at 11:20 for the final flat section to the end where you can join the Hichbrixen gondoal (1) or the Skiweltbah (11) towards Westendorf and Ki-West.
