Hiking Colorado’s Never Summer Wilderness - Baker Gulch to Bowen Gulch Lake Loop in 4K

Video footage from our recent backpacking trip in the Never Summer Wilderness, just outside the boundaries of the Rocky Mountains National Park. This was a 4 day, 3 night backcountry hike completed in early September 2022. Footage shot using an iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro, GoPro Hero 10 and a DJI Mavic Mini 2. Editing via Final Cut Pro. Since we wanted the last day to be the shortest, we did the hike in a CW direction, and spent 2 nights at beautiful Bowen Lake, and 1 night at Parika Lake. As a bonus, we also hiked the side trail up to Ruby Mountain before getting back on the CDT to finish our hike to Parika Lake. Fun fact: A section of this loop runs along the Contential Divide Trail which runs from Canada to Mexico. TheCasualMtnHikers are Bojan “Boki” Drobic and Johnathan “Jono” Oliver.
