Buy Original Paintings at: www.scottswinson.com This is a created watercolour seascape painting and I show you how to paint it step by step. You will learn wet in wet techniques and other techniques in watercolour such as lifting out lights and using a spray bottle. I mostly use hake brushes to paint this but at times use a flat nylon brush and the round sable. I tell you about most of the colours I use as I use them but they are listed below. The paper was Saunders 300gsm and was 56cm long by 28cm high (so quite a large size for watercolour!). You don't need to paint something this big if you prefer to work small. There is nothing worse than getting hundreds of sheets all with a indent in them.
