A Much-Needed Reality Check & Solo Lunch Date!

Welcome back to One Day at a Time 🤍 Today is a simple but meaningful Wednesday. I started the morning in the kitchen with my super greens and a little agenda chat before heading into my first meeting of the day. We went over my to-do list and everything I wanted to accomplish — because even on regular workdays, I’m trying to move with intention. Around lunchtime, I got dressed and took myself on a solo lunch date to Olive Garden (yes, soup and salad always!). I brought my Kindle, did a little reading, and enjoyed the moment — even though the service this time wasn’t the best. Still, the food? Always good. On the drive later, we officially started something new: Keoshia’s Car Convos 🚗🤍 (inspired by one of you!). In this car chat, we talked about gratitude and how easy it is to pray for things, work toward them, finally achieve them… and then immediately move on to the next goal without ever celebrating. I recently came across an old video from my previous channel during the pandemic, and it reminded me how far I’ve come — from 2016 to now. It made me realize how important it is to stop, breathe, and truly enjoy the life we once prayed for. This series, One Day at a Time, is about exactly that — not rushing into tomorrow, not obsessing over what’s next, but learning to appreciate today while we’re in it. Later that evening, I stopped by a friend’s house to support her business (we love supporting women-owned businesses!), and ended the night winding down, chatting, and heading to bed feeling grateful.
