► In this video, we demonstrate the operation of the TM-EML Dual Column Floor Standing Universal Testing System, covering its electromechanical precision, hydraulic wedge grips, and advanced control system for tensile and compression testing of metal specimens. The TM-EML Electromechanical Universal Testing Machine is a high-precision material testing system developed for tensile, compression, and bending tests. This system features advanced hydraulic wedge grips, thus providing a secure hold on metal rebar and other specimens. Operators can control the upper and lower grips using a dedicated hand controller, while a separate control adjusts the crosshead movement. Powered by a three-phase 220V power supply, the system operates using an intelligent computer control system that monitors testing parameters in real-time. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic power pack with touchscreen operation, allowing precise pressure control and automatic clamping of test specimens. It includes load cell and extensometer connections, therefore providing accurate force and elongation measurements to be made. The system also integrates an alignment device calibrated to NADCAP certification standards, guaranteeing high repeatability and compliance with ASTM E1012 and NASM 1312B.
