Romans 12:1–2 calls believers to present themselves to God as a living sacrifice and to be transformed by the renewing of the mind. This song reflects the invitation to worship through obedience and to seek the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
