After far too long, here's a new video of my attempt to match the looseness of the 8 minute drawing with an equally swift watercolour stage. It failed though, as by virtue of the medium, you do need to let washes dry if you don't want them to run into each other.If they do, however, you need to embrace the mistake, as I did with the random bleed on the skyline, which suddenly turned int a clump of trees! The line drawing was done with my Kaweco brass sport, filled with waterproof Sketch ink from Rohrer and Kligner, in a Seawhite of Brighton watercolour sketchbook , and the colour is from Daniel Smith watercolour paint.
