This tribute is a part of the series of ceremonies/ tributes which are being given under the auspices of Radio Pakistan, Lahore to acknowledge and applauded the services of music icons of the past. Renowned singers like Ustad Hamid Ali Khan‚ Hussain Bakhsh Gulloo‚ Sanam Marvi‚ Sara Raza‚ Ali Abbas‚ Ejaz Qaisar‚ Sakhawat Hussain Khan‚ Ejaz Tawakkal‚ Raashid Haideri‚ and Mohammad Ashraf performed at this special musical concert. Musicians and Intellectuals Wazir Afzal‚ Ustad Ghulam Haider‚ Ustad Badar-ur-Zaman‚ Ali Tanha‚ Khalid Sherazi‚ and Dr Mehfooz Khokhar also addressed the guests and talked about the various aspects of the life and services of Zahida Parveen. The ceremony was broadcast live from FM-93 and medium wave‚ and FM-101 Peshawar‚ Quetta‚ and Sialkot channels of Radio Pakistan.
