Mount Totsu and the Cliff are located side by side at an elevation marked 1,250 metres above the sea level. Therefore, both of them offer a spectacular view of the valley down below. According to local myths and legends, the cliff is believed to be guarded by a giant snake and a crab. Totsu Cliff is approximately 25 kilometres away from the town of Wokha and an hour's drive from Phiro village. There are several small lakes and other water ponds at the butte of the mount which add to the splendour of the tourist attraction. One of these lakes is supposed to be the home of a Naga mythological mortal called Nsamo who is believed to have married the lady spirit of the lake and is definitely one of the places to visit.
