In this video, GWS-SENCE Project Leader for Egypt, Marmar Badr, takes you along to the Sekem farm. Because it is there, in the Faiyoum Governate, that there's a success story to share. A story about knowledge sharing that goes back 35 years in time. 🌱 Back then, in 1990, Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish of the SEKEM group visited to the village of Manshiyet Sakaran and shared his knowledge about sustainable farming, free of pesticides. This started the cultivation of organic cotton. A change that still has its positive impacts today.
