Join me in the studio as I bring to life Cast No. 3 of my bronze sculpture of an osprey eagle—a dynamic, polished bronze piece from an edition of 12. This version is presented without the nest, highlighting the strength and elegance of the bird in flight. The sculpture was inspired by Mark Smith’s powerful photo album, “Osprey: The Glorious Pursuit of Unbridled Determination,” which captures the majesty of this incredible bird and served as a major source of artistic inspiration. The video takes you through the full process: from assembling raw cast elements, through detailed chasing and resculpting in bronze, to welding, polishing, and applying the final patina.
