It’s no secret that I LOVE planners and think they’re absolutely essential to keeping your life and business organized. My first tip is to think about the size of your planner. There's A5, A6 (personal size), and the wallet size. The question to ask yourself is where you're going to use it most. The planner should stay open at all times. This means you have to think about your desk size. The second question is where you’re going to be using it. If you're always on the go, the personal or wallet size may be the best choice. Third, what's the mechanism? Spiral-bound or ring? I love the six-ring mechanism. With spiral-bound, you're limited by the arrangement. As I show in this planner flip through, six-ring makes it easy to remove everything and makes changes. And don’t overlook personalization when setting up your 2021 planner. You can add charms, or anything else that will make you want to use it. Don’t forget about pens either. The better the pens, the more you'll plan. Will you be doing functional planning or pretty planning? This answer will help you determine what kind of stickers and other accessories to get. Last, decide on the categories in your planner. For example, one category that I have is for my routines. Once you get your 2021 planner set up right, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running.
