Shell yeah! Let’s make a Beach Arrangement | Episode 85 of Blossoms and Bourbon

Having just returned from our family beach vacation, I was inspired to make an arrangement inspired by some items I foraged while there. A piece of palm bark, three palm tree seed pod sprays and a dried branch that had held pods are all things I found at the house where we stayed. I wanted to use them along with some shells (also found on a previous trip!) to create a design that reminds me of the simple joy of a walk on the beach or sitting listening to the ocean! What do you think? A clean minimal color palette of green, white and natural tones informs the design as does the multitude of textures! The pour of choice for this episode is from Lost Whiskey in Fairfax, Virginia. The Lost distillery uses a leather strap on each bottle with a barrel and a story number. Their concept is that bourbon is not just about the drink, but about the story and the experience of who it is shared with!
