The Catskills region is considered the birthplace of fly fishing in America thanks to Theodore Gordon in the 1890's. The trout fishing today is still fantastic which is why Tom Rosenbauer and Mark Melnyk have come to do some early season fly fishing in the numerous rivers and streams the region is blessed with. They even visited and fished at DeBruce Fly Fishing Club, to angle on some of their waters. Wonderful walk & wade fly fishing throughout the region for trout using dry flies, nymphs and streamers.
