Instructions for the course: In this video I show you how to carve a woman's face in wood. As you will be able to see at the end of the first part, it does not look so much like a woman's face (It is important to understand that it is very difficult to make a male or female face out of context, that is, without the hair and the rest of the head that give us important indications of the person's sex). I take advantage of this not so convincing result to show you how to correct the lines of the face and thus give it a more feminine appearance. It will help you better understand what makes a face look feminine. Each face is different and there are no rules to make a masculine or feminine face, but here are some features that are more frequent in a woman's face and that therefore you can apply to your sculptures to make them more feminine: -Shorter chin. -Larger eyes and pupils/eye shape. -Nose lower, short and thin.
