October 3, 1938 - Hitler and Goering observe a military band performance and inspect an airfield in Germany. October 3, 1938 - Hitler delivers speeches, rallying Nazis and leading military marches. August 28, 1939 - Anti-aircraft units and a balloon barrage are set up over London in preparation for war. September 4, 1939 - Children are evacuated from cities to the countryside to stay safe from potential bombings. September 4, 1939 - Mussolini rejects the idea that Italy is preparing for war, advocating for peace instead.
