Learn how to play Joy to the World on the violin with this simple tutorial. It is a classic and fun Christmas carol to play on the violin and not too hard, so a great one to try if you are a beginner. In this video I will show you a slow close up of the fingers to copy, followed by a slightly faster play along run through, where you can see both fingers and bowing. There is a scrolling score with note names and finger number for people who will find that helpful, but no problem if you can't read music, just copy and play. 0:00 Intro 0:08 Close up of the fingers 1:34 Play Along! (fingers and bowing) If it is too fast or too slow, you can simply change the playback speed by clicking on the settings icon at the bottom right of the video, and adjusting to the desired tempo.
