We pick up right where Episode 7 left off: the Sheriff in Valentine has Arthur at gunpoint, finger basically living on the hair trigger… a $300 bounty will do that. Arthur gets arrested and bailed out by an angry Dutch, marching out of town, we meet a few colorful locals who make the whole “walk of shame” feel even better. From there it’s back to camp to catch a breather and see what life looks like at Horseshoe Overlook. We settle in, take in the vibe, and somehow witness a couple of things that feel straight-up impossible… because camp life in this game always finds a way to surprise you. But peace doesn’t last long. It’s time for Attempt #4 to reach Javier in Blackwater. On the way, things get weird fast: Arthur ends up locked onto a stranger to suck out the poison (yeah, we’re doing that), then it’s right back into the meat grinder with more wolves.
