The Macoupin and Montgomery County Recovery Oriented System of Care (M&M ROSC) was founded in September of 2021 with the intent to support, facilitate, and advocate for the renewal and restoration of health and wellness for communities, families, and individuals who are seeking and living in recovery. M&M ROSC seeks to (1) reduce stigma and increase engagement among community members, Improve awareness of substance use and mental health through education and outreach, (2) Facilitate cooperation across sectors, perspectives, and lived experiences, (3) Increase access to multiple recovery support options and timely care, (4) Increase the number of people pursuing and maintaining recovery. The M&M ROSC was built under the Macoupin County Public Health Department's substance use treatment and recovery program. MCPHD provides substance use treatment and recovery services and behavioral health services at both the Health & Wellness Center in Gillespie and at the St. Francis Way Clinic in Litchfield.
