NYC Missions Trip to Queens, NY | Serving with NYSOM & Brooklyn Adult & Teen Challenge

In Jan 2026 our team had the incredible opportunity to serve in Queens, New York alongside the powerful ministry happening at New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSOM). We didn’t just visit — we worked. Using practical skills and willing hands, our team served through: 🔧 Electrical work 🧹 Cleaning and clearing ministry spaces 🧱 Bathroom tile repair 🏠 Installing new LVP flooring 🛠 Facility improvements to strengthen urban ministry efforts But the mission didn’t stop there. We also partnered with Brooklyn Adult & Teen Challenge, serving at a veterans center through outreach ministry and participating in a powerful service with the men in the program. This trip reminded us of something important: Missions isn’t always a microphone. Sometimes it’s a mop. Sometimes it’s a drill. Sometimes it’s showing up and strengthening what God is already building. Urban ministry takes hands, humility, and heart. We were honored to serve leaders who are faithfully reaching people in the heart of New York City. Thank you to NYSOM and Brooklyn ATC for trusting us to sow into the work.
