In this video we unpack a bombshell Social Research Foundation poll that shows the DA surging into the 30s and closing the gap on the ANC for the first time in democratic South Africa. We start by going back to Frans Cronje’s January 2024 warning about Jacob Zuma and the MK party, and how SRF’s earlier polling in KZN correctly anticipated the ANC’s collapse toward 39% nationally. That’s important, because it proves these are not thumbsuck polls – they have already tracked reality. Then we look at Gabriel’s latest SRF numbers: on a 53% turnout model the ANC sits at 37%, the DA at 32%, MK and EFF both losing ground, and a growing centre of voters who are tired of slogans and want real solutions. We break down why the DA’s move to replace BEE with a poverty-based empowerment policy is resonating with black, ANC and swing voters across the country. You’ll see how South Africans are quietly rejecting race-based patronage and shifting toward value, merit and opportunity for the poor – and why that is the most devastating verdict yet on ANC ideology. From there we connect the poll to a deeper shift in thinking, using a powerful conversation with Prince Mashele about: how black elites used BEE to join the “white man’s tent” instead of building something new, why education in STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) is the only sustainable way out of poverty, and how a culture that mocks “clever blacks”, “coconuts” and “sellouts” ends up persecuting exactly the people who can fix the country. I then show why South Africa is a hybrid civilisation: African culture, stories and ubuntu on the one hand; and a Judeo-Christian moral software on the other – a people whose instincts about justice, dignity and human rights are still shaped by the Bible more than by Marxist slogans. In my biblical reaction, we land on Proverbs 24:3–4 – “By wisdom a house is built…” – and ask what it means to build a nation on wisdom, understanding and knowledge, not on victimhood, ideology and corruption. If most South Africans truly want prosperity (not endless “redistribution” slogans), then this SRF poll is a sign that the hearts and minds are already moving. Our job is simply to fan that flame. I also share an update on my upcoming book “The Soft Life: Three Simple Secrets Comrades Don’t Want You to Know” and the vision to get one million free copies into the hands of hustlers, entrepreneurs and young leaders before 2029 – so that we lock in this shift from protest to production, from Karl Marx to Prosperity. Once-Off Donation to the Prosperity Catalyst Fund The Prosperity Catalyst seeks R2,427,259.37 to educate 1,000,000 young South Africans through free book distribution. This initiative will inspire prosperity and reject the ideologies of envy, hatred, and victimhood.
