Better in every way than the already capable C8 Corvette Stingray, the mid-engined Z06 brings a brand new 5.5L Flat plane crank V8, codenamed the LT6, which revs to 8600 rpm and makes 670 horsepower, taking the title of the World's Most Powerful Naturally Aspirated Production V8. This is a seriously special engine for a seriously special car. With the track focused Z07 package, you get an aggressive carbon fiber aero package, carbon ceramic brakes, optional carbon fiber wheels and retuned steering and suspension. This car has all the right ingredients, and we got to find out if they added up to an amazing final result. The first drive occurred on the curvy mountain roads outside Pittsburgh, then we hit the track at Pittsburgh Raceway, a spectacular track.
