Glenfiddich Distillery Visit - The Pioneers Tour

Watch as we pay a visit to the famous Glenfiddich distillery in the Speyside town of Dufftown. Glenfiddich is the biggest whisky distillery in Scotland and the best selling single malt whisky in the world. We took the most in-depth of their tours - The Pioneers Tour. The Pioneers Tour takes you around this huge site and shows you all aspects of whisky making - watching the mash being stirred, checking on the fermentation, viewing one of the still rooms and exploring one of the warehouses (we weren't allowed to film this bit unfortunately). In the warehouse are four casks selected by Glenfiddich's Malt Master Brian Kinsman, and part of the tour includes filling your own 20cl bottle of choice. It is then rounded off by a tutored whisky tasting including the new make spirit, 12yo, 14yo Rich Oak, 15yo, 18yo, 21yo & 30yo.
