Bringing our 8 month old baby to Kyushu to see her great grandmother [Japanese American family]

Our first part of our Japan trip was spent in Kyushu! We arrived in Haneda, and spent the night in Tokyo and then headed out to Oita, Beppu the next morning. Of course we had to make a few pitstops for food along the way. Food is one of Ryoji's favorite things about Japan! Ryoji was born in Oita and his grandmother and some of his family still lives there. It had been years since Ryoji had gone back home so it was so special that we got to bring out daughter Rhea, too. She was 8 months old the first time she got to travel to Japan and to Kyushu. This was also my first time seeing Chi Chi's house, which was SO cool. It was the traditional Japanese house that every foreigner dreams of seeing in Japan.We had such a wonderful few days spent in Oita. Thanks so much for watching!
