Unit4 ERP Workspaces - Creating Custom Widgets

Hi folks! This video demonstrates how you can use the Custom Widgets function to add an info card to your Workspace Dashboard. Using a browser template and a portfolio, you can make the card display information relating tou your currently selected attribute value - in our example we use information from chosen suppliers. All you need is: 📃 ➡️ A plan - what you want to show ➡️ A design - how you want to show it ➡️ A Desktop Browser report - a source of data for the relevant attribute (or Information Browser if using ERPX) ➡️ A Workspace with a Dashboard - a place for the widget to be put ➡️ A Portfolio - a way to feed the value into the Dashboard (not necessarily needed for resource information) If you would like to learn how to create Workspaces, Dashboards and Portfolios, why not sign up to my Workspaces Workshop course!
