Solo App is 3DRs and works with firmware 2.4.2 only - requires a older phone Solo App is not recommended on Open Solo 3.0 - 3.5. 4.0 firmware versions Solox App is designed by a 3rd party for Open Solo firmware 3.0 - 40 - after market software Solox is not recommended for version 2.4.2 - any changes are not compatible for Solo App after Solox is a paid app on the Play Store and can only take you from 2.4.2 to Open Solo 4.0 Solo App & 2.4.2 offer Cable Cam and Orbit Mode for Cinematographers - Solex does not Solox App has more features like flip camera so its up to you what version you want to run on. Don't have a Go Pro? No problem! 3DR works with any Micro Camera with a HDMI port FLIGHTS AT NIGHT - Approved for Law Enforcement or Border Patrol & Search and Rescue use only You can also use a custom mount and use any wifi battery security camera with infrared or phone with GoPro Live or a wireless app like Alfred where you use 1 phone to monitor another camera! Just connect whatever wireless device to your phones Wifi or Sololink and go get em! You can run but you cant hide from the 3DR Solo Patrol. If you cant get your 3DR Solo working or syncing, or its syncs but refuses to take off, it just gives you a DONG SOUND instead of taking off, you may just need to power them off then back on or properly pair them. How to Pair the Drone to the controller with a 3-5 second depress - 15 seconds is a hard reset 3. How to Properly Connect to the original SOLO APP and go fly NOTE: Remember doing hard reset on the controller or 10 seconds or longer depress on drone will cause a hard reset - doing this can cause a pre-flight update issue if your drone and controller were shipped from the factory with the original firmware baked in. If this app does not work, you have to send it to me to get it fixed or just buy a new one past the pre-flight update and don't hard reset until you get the 2.4.2 firmware baked in the next one.
