Minenhle is a Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology and Food Technology at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). She's also the CEO of Faculty of Best Advisory (FBA) - a Non-Profit Company that focuses on career guidance, mentorship, leadership and tutoring, amongst other things. Minenhle is currently a D Tech Food Technology candidate at UJ. She holds an MSc in Food Technology (2019), a B TECH in Food Technology (2015, passed with distinction) and an N DIP in Food Technology (2014), all from UJ. Her research focus is on African Indigenous plants and their functional properties as well as food product development, which are aimed at meeting recent consumer demands for convenient, healthy and affordable food products.
