[ Personal Thoughts & Performance ] the only relatively "regular" car in the B class, given that it isn't a concept and had a not-crazy-limited production run. it's also a few years old by the time this game came out. by this point it was already viewed as a bit of a disappointment compared to its concept version, despite its top speed record. even nowadays it hasn't appreciated as much in value as other 90s supercars. not that it deserves that reputation. glad ea saw it as the legend it is. this is your best bet for B class races on high speed courses - it can probably even compete with A class cars on a track like proving grounds. not that the tournament gives you much opportunity to make use of that, with the B class races being situated on tighter courses where the poor handling of the xj220 makes it struggle. heavy, large, and mostly likes to go in a straight line. It is available at all times. "Headless Horse" and "Halling Ass" are the themes for this track. [ Personal Thoughts ] surely a nostalgic favorite for many who grew up with this game, but not a terribly interesting track to actually drive on. all that matters here is top speed, as all the turns here are wide enough to handle at full throttle in any car. just make sure you stay on the banking! notice the pit lane, which serves no purpose but does hold some "spares" of your car as props, which actually have physics if you crash into them. running this track in reverse is basically no different from forwards.
