This video is a step-by-step tutorial to help you make your own Tiered Tulle Skirt, inspired by Dior's 2019 Resort Collection tulle skirts. I always wanted this type of tiered tulle skirt, so I've been experimenting on the ratios of the pieces to make the most wearable yet classy version of it. After a few attempts, I finally found the measurements that worked for me, so I decided to gladly share this tutorial for those who wanted to recreate this piece just like myself :) Here are the details: Materials 1. Fabric Ivory Polka Dot Tulle, 5.5 yards (150cm = 59in width) Off White Crepe Back Satin, 3 yards (150cm = 59in width) 2. Notions Invisible zipper (Ivory) Hook and eye closure Grosgrain ribbon (Off white, 1.5in width), 2 yards 3. Extra Off white lace Lining 1. Material Off White Crepe Back Satin, 3 yards (150cm = 59in width) 2. Pattern Half circle skirt with skirt length of 90cm (= 35.4in) Resource: https://www.itsalwaysautumn.com/easy-... 3. Things to consider Opacity of the fabric Compatibility with two layers of tulle Please note that the overall fit could vary based on the type of tulle you select. The fabric I used in the video was very fine and puffy, so the skirt turned out to be quite bouncy. In case you want it to be more flowy and calm, you could consider using softer tulle with more elasticity. Thank you so much for joining me on my first video ever! When you make your own skirt based on this tutorial, please tag me on my Instagram handle (@_hyegineer_) so I could run to the post and cheer for you :) Can't wait to see what your work looks like! Then, I'll see you in the next video. Take care!
