Pleasant Valley High School's student film team, House of BLUE, located in Chico, CA was awarded a grant from the California Highway Patrol to make a short film for the nationwide program: "Every 15 Minutes" to promote awareness for the dangers of underage drinking and drinking and driving. While the events that took place in this film were scripted, the consequences of driving under the influence are very real. The actors in this film volunteered because of their conviction and personal experience, directly or indirectly, with drunk driving. It is our hope that this film can serve as a conversation piece, and that it can make people think about what they are doing before they get behind the wheel, drunk. *Warning some of the content is graphic and could be alarming to some viewers...
