Im Sommer 2016 begannen die Abrissarbeiten am Château Noisy – auch bekannt als Château Miranda. Das Schloss war ohne Zweifel der bekannteste und meistbesuchte Lost Place der Welt. Architektonisch war es der Inbegriff eines Traumschlosses, auf Grund seines maroden Zustandes für viele eher Synonym für ein Spukschloss. Aus aller Welt pilgerten Heerscharen an Interessierten nach Belgien, um mit eigenen Augen das Phänomen „Château Noisy“ erleben zu können. Das Gebäude war extremst einsturzgefährdet und deshalb auch ein Abenteuerspielplatz für Waghalsige. Als (angeblich) ein Fotograf beim Sturz vom zentralen Uhrturm ums Leben kam, ließ der Besitzer das Schloss von Jägern und Hunden bewachen, aber auch das tat dem Ansturm an Menschen keinen Abbruch. Es konnte keine Lösung für den Erhalt des Schlosses gefunden werden, weshalb es schließlich von der Denkmalliste gestrichen und für den Abriss freigegeben wurde. Im Sommer des Jahres 2017 machten wir uns auf den Weg nach Belgien, um den Untergang eines Traumschlosses mit eigenen Augen zu sehen und für die Nachwelt festzuhalten. Wenige Monate später war Château Noisy für immer verloren … In the summer of 2016, the demolition work began on Château Noisy - also known as Château Miranda. The castle was undoubtedly the best-known and most-visited lost place in the world. Architecturally, it was the epitome of a dream castle, due to its dilapidated condition for many synonymous with a haunted castle. From all over the world, pilgrims flocked to Belgium to experience the phenomenon "Château Noisy" with their own eyes. The building was extremely prone to collapse and therefore also an adventure playground for daredevils. When (supposedly) a photographer died from the fall from the central clock tower, the owner had the castle guarded by hunters and dogs, but that did not stop the onrush of people. No solution could be found for the preservation of the castle, which is why it was finally removed from the monument list and open for demolition. In the summer of 2017, we made our way to Belgium to see the downfall of a dream castle for ourselves and capture it for posterity. A few months later Château Noisy was lost forever ...
