VLOG: Manchester Airport To Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (Tuesday 7th August 2018)

Hey everyone in this VLOG I go on my first ever flight with my very good friend Will aka IC82 who accompanied me for this trip. So on the morning of Tuesday 7th August 2018, I drive over to Crewe to meet up with Will & Craig. After arriving in Crewe shortly after 5:30am (after making sure we hadn't forgot anything), we set off in Will's car to Manchester Airport to catch our flight which was due to depart at 9am. After arriving at the airport, we pull onto JetParks 1 where Craig then takes over as driver as he is using the car for the day whilst myself & Will jet off to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. We then say goodbye to Craig and catch the free shuttle bus which takes us to the airport, and drops us off outside the terminal buildings. We fly from Terminal 3 during this trip, so after going through security I get my GoPro Hero 6 Black Edition out of my camera bag and film various areas of the airport including the departure lounge area where we sat with some breakfast and a drink before boarding our flight. After waiting a few minutes for our flight to land at the airport, we watch through the windows as it arrives at the gate. For this trip we chose KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) as we had heard great reviews about their service through word of mouth, the internet and other VLOG's on Youtube from various aviation channel owners. So around 9am (BST) we board our flight (KL1072 - Embraer 190) which I also film on my GoPro during the boarding process. After finding our seats & making ourselves comfortable on the aircraft, we wait for push back ready for take-off. However there was a slight delay as Air Traffic Control (ATC) advised that our flight path had been changed so therefore more fuel was required onboard the aircraft. After a 15 minute delay or so, we finally push back ready for take-off and we both use our GoPro cameras to film the take-off & journey, although I only wished to film the take-off, in-flight footage & landing for the airports. Will on the other hand filmed the entire flight to Amsterdam so that we both got footage that we required. After landing at Amsterdam Schiphol airport at around 11:15am (CEST), we then head to the panorama viewing terrace which took a while to find, but it has been one place I've always wanted to visit through my passion of aviation photography & filming. As you will see, once we found it we were certainly not disappointed, and footage from the terrace was then filmed using my Canon camcorder, whilst I also took photos using my Canon EOS 200D DSLR. During our time spent here we also tried out some of the food and drink in the cafes inside the airport, whilst also browsing the shopping centre and purchasing gifts for family and friends back in the UK. The weather was also hot with temperatures reaching 33 degrees during the afternoon. So after staying on the panorama viewing terrace until around 17:30 (CEST) we then head back into the airport to do a final bit of shopping, whilst grabbing a drink before heading through security to catch our flight back home. After passing through security we then have an hour or so to ourselves whilst we sit in the departure lounge and watch the various KLM aircraft arriving and departing from the airport. Then at around 20:50 (CEST) we board our flight (KL1083 - Boeing 737) and again I film the boarding process on my GoPro. However for the take-off footage, I then hand my GoPro to Will who films it for me as he is sat by the window with his own GoPro filming the entire flight home. We then arrive back in Manchester again at Terminal 3 around 22:15 (BST) where we then meet up with Craig who arrives to pick us up for our return journey back to Crewe.
