Joining my friend Justin for the South Korea leg of his year long trip cycling all over Asia. Justin was taking the ferry in from Japan, so it only made sense for us to go from Busan to Seoul. This was also a great reason for me to hop on the bullet train to Busan, minus the zombies! We rode on the 4 rivers trail all the way into Seoul which provided a great (mainly car free) path. The hardest part of the whole trip was finding solid campsites that you could show up the day of. A lot of the campgrounds we passed required reservations at least 24 hrs before. My original plan was to fly into Incheon International Airport and bike to Seoul Station train station in the heart of the city. I didn't plan the ferry correctly, which caused me to have to take a Taxi into the city. If you're like me and love biking from airports, I would recommend taking the metro a lot closer to the city and avoiding trying to bike directly from the terminals/catching the ferry.
