thumbnail by    / @elinorepls   twitter:   / cygnuzzzz_   twitch:   / cygnuzzzz   -- full completion --    • ourwa 100   -- my thoughts -- oh, wow, this level was certainly an experience. writing this description over 3 weeks after actually completing it, allows me to really put into words how much i think this to be a turning point in my path as a player. this is the first time in a while, where the learning process of a level actually made me struggle a lot. i've been very content mostly playing skillbased levels for the last ~6 months, so this really pushed me outside my comfort zone. then there was the mindblock i got with 40-46 and the fact i was going on vacation two weeks after starting the level. despite all those obstacles however, i feel like i performed incredibly with this level and it gave me a lot confidence for network. with me playing network so much this month, i also really got to feel the skillboost this gave me, bc i've been getting consistent at incredibly difficult and weird parts in network. this level and my experience with it were just entirely unique. 0-5% - this part was kinda annoying to start out with, because i would often die to the wave like 4-5 times in a row, but towards the end of playing, i was consistently passing that wave. 6-9% - DONT UNDERESTIMATE THIS PART. for some reason this 3% snippet of gp is probably like 25% of the reason why i was always struggling so bad from zero. 10-17% - this part didn't help either, but the robot, followed by the dual wave spam is INCREDIBLY satisfying to pull off. this is the first instance of the ESIOS-phenomenon (will be explained at the end). 18-26% - god this part is so HARD too. especially the ship at 25 would always snipe me a lot. this part was also rly hard to learn and probably got the least consistent out of anything in the level. 27%-35% - this part is great and honestly not that hard anymore, except for that ball spider dual bullshit. i hate those clicks, they're so awkward and annoying and kind of another instance of the ESIOS-phenomenon. 36%-45% - this part is so cool. kind of unfortunate that this had to be the part i got mindblocked with, bc apart from the dual spider at 42, this part is AWESOME and goes surprisingly well with the song. 46%-51% - this part is also rly cool. i choked a lot here bc of nerves and it rly is great at ramping ur nerves up for the second drop, but i still like this part a lot. the fact that you have to do a microclick in the first ship at first annoyed me, but i acc think it's a pretty cool idea. that stupid spider click at 49 however is another instance of the ESIOS-phenomenon. 51%-57% - this dual is neat. idk don't got much else to say. 58%-63% - ahhhhh, this part is so chokeable. it's consistent in runs, but as soon as you get there from zero and you're not absolutely locked in, you will die here SO MUCH, as i did :( 64%-70% - this part actually kinda. annoyed me. the two pink orbs at 67 are really inconsistent and the wave right after just feels so wrong to do. the first half of this dual is actually SOOOOOO satisfying to do, but idk, still don't like this part all that much. 71-77% - this part just racks your nerves up, bc it's kinda free, but you can still die here, if you're not careful. 77%-88% - idk what to say about this section much. it's good! 88%-100 - THIS LAST SECTION IS SO IMPOSSIBLE. ITS GOOD GAMEPLAY THO.
