How to Make a Tool Box Card | Box Card | Pop up Box Card | Surprise Box Card | Father’s Day Card - Tutorial by Crystal Best In this video, I will show you step by step, how to make your very own Tool Box Box Card for your Dad for Father’s Day. But that’s not all, at the end of the video I will give you some great ideas for other box cards that you can create! I will give measurements for a general box card here and state where I used specific decorations for this tool box card) Follow along with me to create your very own DIY Cards!    • How to Make Greeting Cards | Card Making 101   Materials you'll need to make your greeting card: all sizes are in inches. 1. 1 piece of Cardstock 9 x 5 ½ (base card – I used navy blue here) 2. 2 pieces of Cardstock 3 1/8 x 1 3. 2 pieces of layer one (below) 1 7/8 x 5 ¼ (this is for the front and back of the section that stays upright) 4. 9 pieces of layer one (below) 1 7/8 x 2 ½ (you only need 8 of these for this specific too box card but for all other box cards you need 9 - 6 for outside and 3 for the inside that opens when the box pops open and those 3 flaps come down) 5. 2 pieces of layer two 1 ¾ x 5 1/8 (one white for back of card - this is for the front and back of the section that stays upright - I usually emboss the inside piece) 6. 9 pieces of layer two 1 ¾ x 2 3/8 (you will need 8 pieces and tool box drawers in this specific card) 7. Tool box drawers a. 2 top drawers are 3/8 x 1 7/8 b. 2 foam layers ¼ x 1 ¾ c. 3 bottom drawers ½ x 1 7/8 d. 3 foam layers 3/8 x 1 7/8 e. 5 silver strips 1/16 x 1 7/8 9.
