Rambling on Reaper King's abilities at various levels - MtGPQ

It's late, and there is just one day left of it in the store, but I've wanted to talk about Puzzle Quest's first playable five-colored Planeswalker. It has its own kinda tribal things going on, mostly with scarecrows and lands, but hey Changelings are kinda scarecrowy and also boost your mana gains here. I don't get into gameplay here as the night has been a bit draining, but I still like this walker, especially with the Shadowmo or mythic lands and the auras like Shield of the Oversoul (?). kinda a shame that it and the other deity spells (I'm not sure what is a better name) aren't included with Reaper King's precon decks, but eh. Previous attempts at recording had points that I missed on this final one - the starter precon deck, the one that you get when getting Reaper King, has a couple of scarecrow cards that are pleasantly bugged in that they always seem to have their abilities active, even if you don't have your scarespawn token on the battlefield as well; - you really need to put in card advantage ways because while Reaper is good at getting mana with its abilities, it's not the best when you have little in your hand for the mana to go to, so in Standard that can be solved with stuff like Starwinder or Requiem Monolith #mtgpq #puzzlequest #MagicTheGathering #Shadowmoor #planeswalkerabilities #ReaperKing #five-coloredplaneswalker
