Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today on 5 November 2025. We begin today's video with a truck accident on the N2 South at Durban. We fly over the Saldanha area in South Africa, today. Make a stop at Adene’s Flowers at Whale Coast Mall, Hermanus. It was raining tonight in Upington, a quick storm, and then it passed. Big veld fire along the N2 near Greenbushes, PE in the Eastern Cape Province. The bridge with dark clouds near Lower Sabie Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park. We have lunch at The Wreck Restaurant in Port Edward. Benguela Cove between Kleinmond and Hermanus. The Stellenberg Feesmark, Bellville —more than 300 exhibitors until 8 November 2025 —and we will also show you several other locations across South Africa today. The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows: Fog is expected in Gauteng, North West Province, the Bushveld region of Limpopo Province, the Highveld region of Mpumalanga Province, the Free State Province, KwaZulu-Natal Province, and along the western coast. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are likely in the north-eastern parts of South Africa. These will become more widespread around the escarpment (the steep slope at the edge of a plateau) in KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and central Limpopo Province. The South African Weather Service has issued impact-based warnings. Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms is expected over the Highveld of Mpumalanga, central Limpopo, and northwestern KwaZulu-Natal. These storms may bring heavy rain, strong winds, and hail. Local damage to infrastructure, informal settlements, property, vehicles, and livestock is possible. Local flooding, minor vehicle accidents, and injuries from flying debris may also occur. Yellow Level 1: Damaging winds are expected between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas. These winds may make sea navigation difficult. Small vessels could be at risk of taking on water or capsizing. Extremely high fire danger is expected in some areas of the Northern Cape. We will try and upload a video for you every day or the third day from somewhere around South Africa (SA) where we travel. We live in the platteland but try and see as much as we can of South Africa. Join us on a journey as we explore the beauty of South Africa through daily video captures. From breathtaking landscapes to vibrant cities, we showcase the diversity and charm of our country. Subscribe and come along for the adventure! We want to show our viewers as many places as we can across the country worth visiting. South Africa is a large country, and only some locals know where all these places are, we therefore add a map that we created to show where the video was captured more or less. We also try and provide some history on many of the towns, museums and events on that day in South Africa. We take pride in bringing original and captivating videos that will leave you in awe. Also in this video, KFC on the Go at Port Shepstone, Bronkhorstspruit Dam and Knysna Waterfront and Yacht Club. Drive from Glentana to Airport George. We end the video at the Spioenkop Battlefield near Bergville in the KwaZulu Natal Province of South Africa. #southafrica #satoday #durban #n2south #saroads #traffic #truckaccident #n3 #today #rsatoday
