How does a quad amputee easily charge his own power wheelchair without hands?

Another challenge a quad, or bi-lateral, amputee may have to living independently is re-charging their own power wheelchairs. Typically, the prongs on the electrical connection require precise plug-ins which are difficult or impossible to connect if you have no hands to rotate and push in the plug. Luckily as Mark and I were trying to invent some way to address this issue, we found an unusual product already on the market made by a company called Active Controls. The item is called Recharge +. The large D shape of both the Recharge and the socket is funneled vertically to allow the Recharge handle to go in with minimal effort and no need for fingers.
