After 56 years of passenger service, the R32s have been removed from passenger operation on the NYC Subway. These cars temporarily returned to service on the J/Z lines after the new R179 cars were temporarily removed from service for engineering inspections. However, they are still in use for non-revenue work/garbage train service. Enjoy these clips of the R32s in their final weeks of operation before their removal from service.
