Today, I'm practically buzzing with excitement because I'm going to tell you all about this AMAZING hotel I stayed at in Tahara, Japan. Seriously, I'm still dreaming of it! This place is called the Irago Ocean Resort. Picture this: it's right on the coast, with the most breathtaking ocean views, and it's got this real classic, timeless vibe. It's actually been around since 1968, but don't worry, it's been totally updated! They did a beautiful renovation back in 2013, so everything's fresh and modern, but still with that lovely, elegant feel. They've got 154 rooms, so there's plenty of space, whether you're traveling solo, with your partner, or the whole family. They totally welcome families, which is awesome - kids aged one and up are welcome, and best of all, there's no extra charge! You can check in from 3:00 PM, which gives you plenty of time to get settled in, and check out is nice and easy by 10:00 AM. That means a full day to enjoy all the fun stuff! And the fun stuff is where it gets really good! They have a fantastic spa where you can get a massage and just completely chill out. After a massage, you can hit up the hot tub, or relax in the sauna or steam room - talk about total relaxation mode! Plus, they have a buffet dinner which is absolutely AMAZING. Also, there's breakfast included which gives you the perfect start to your day. And they have parking, so you don't need to worry about that. Seriously, this place is just perfect for escaping the everyday and soaking up the Japanese seaside experience. It's got that welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
