Medieval Fair | A Weekend in Teruel, Spain

Teruel is a small city halfway between Valencia and Zaragoza and is known throughout Spain for “las boda de Isabel de Segura” ("The wedding of Isabel de Segura"), which is an annual, medieval-themed event, with decorated streets and buildings, food stalls, exhibitions, markets, tents of the various guild groups and many people often wearing historically rigorous costumes of the 13th century. It is the hometown of my friend Pablo and I travelled there in a group of 15 people. Together we got to explore the city, learn about Teruel´s history, experience it´s nightlife and we also got to try a home-made paella.
