Eine eindrückliche Rundwanderung ab Maggia über Weiden und durch imposante Birkenwälder. Immer wieder tolle Aussicht auf die umliegenden stark bewaldeten Berge und teilweise schneebedeckten Felsformationen. Es wartet eine idyllische und naturbelassene Landschaft. Eine lange Treppe für durch Reben vom Dorf Maggia hoch zur Kapelle Santa Maria della Pioda aus dem Spätmittelalter. Über eine alte und steil abfallende Steinbrücke führt der Weg weiter ins Valle del Salto. Vorbei an Rustici und zahlreichen Kapellen/Bildstöcken welche auf das religiöse Brauchtum aus der Vergangenheit hinweisen. The path continues over an old and steeply sloping stone bridge into the Valle del Salto. Past Rustici and numerous chapels / wayside shrines which point to the religious customs from the past. The chirping of birds and lizards warming themselves in the sun are constant companions on the approximately 8.5 km long circular hike.
