Helldiver at Jefferson City September 13th, 2025

"Sometimes, you just got to go with what you're handed." I was really looking forward to seeing this Helldiver up close and personal at an airshow in Jefferson City, Missouri but, understandably, it was closed off from the public, and parked a hundred yards or so from the barricades. Well, OK...but THEN, I failed to notice it taking off, and only realized it was in the air as it began its first pass down the show line. THEN...my aging video camera acted up, refusing to focus on the dive bomber during its first three passes. FINALLY, the thing started focusing, and this is the footage I got. So, it came out better than I thought it would. Beautiful plane.
