You have the perfect fountain pen. You have the ink that flows like a Mother’s undiluted affection. Your thoughts are dying to pour out on the paper Yet, the actual writing experience is a disaster. Yes, you got it right, the paper you are writing on is playing truant. Yes, this is about stationery. But before I begin, the confession. I am no paper technologist. I do not know about the chemicals or the processes that are used to brighten or polish papers and how they react with ink any better than the average man on the street. Yet I am attempting to do this video, based on my writing experience with different types of papers and with the easily available notebooks at acceptable price points just to address the various queries that you viewers bombard me with. Forgive me if I transgress technically or err on the right side of good intentions. I am deliberately not treading the path that invariably leads to Japanese papers, especially the world dominating ones. Reams have already been written about them. No pun intended. On the contrary, I am focussing on printer paper and the like, stuff that an ordinary aficionado can access even at the back of beyond at a reasonable price. Do write back if you find this even remotely interesting.
