In this video, we will discuss testicular examination. The examination is for the purpose of examining the patient's testicles and penis, and the patient needs to undress below the waist, with a chaperone present to ensure privacy. Consent must be obtained before the examination. Before starting the examination, the patient is asked if they have any pain. explain the different steps involved in the testicular examination, starting with inspection, where we look for any redness, swelling, scars & hair distribution. Palpation is also done to compare the temperature of the testicles with the thigh, feel for any tenderness or cysts, and check for the epididymis.
